Lyra Vale

I’m Lyra, and I live for complicated heroines and their journeys to find themselves! I write dark worlds and complicated relationships, but at the heart of my stories is something tender: a heroine finding people who give her the safety and space to discover who she is, and who love her as she does. That’s what draws me to why-choose romance. Each relationship offers its own connection, its own tenderness, and another chance to be understood. Besides the Daughters of Halcyon series, I write the dark romantasy series Quill & Steel. Wherever you start, expect slow-burning bonds, fierce devotion, and heroines growing into themselves. I write with a beautiful view of my garden, which keeps me inspired more often than I’d like to admit. Maybe that’s why Ash can’t stop planting seeds. I also have two tiny co-authors, my two small dogs, Zak and Atlas! Come say hi at lyravalebooks.com or @lyra_vale_author, I love to chat!
